Building strong partnerships in the communities where we work throughout Ireland and the UK is important to us.
Since its formation in 2021, the Swans have provided young people and adults in Athenry with the opportunity to get involved in hockey, growing from a small grassroots team into a vibrant and inclusive club. They now field teams across primary, secondary, and adult levels, including a U16 girlsโ team competing in the league, and plans for a senior womenโs side in the coming season.
With changes to their current playing ground, the club is preparing to transform a disused tennis court in Raheen into a new 2G pitch, creating a lasting facility for hockey and wider community sport in Athenry.
Weโre pleased to support their efforts as they grow and provide valuable sporting opportunities for all ages in the region.
