Coffey, in partnership with Cork City Council – Comhairle Cathrach Chorcaรญ – Infrastructure Development Directorate, is progressing infrastructure enhancements east of Blarney. This project focuses on creating a shared pedestrian and cycle facility, linking the R617 and N20 on-ramp northwards towards Blarney Business Park, thereby improving road safety, accessibility, and public amenities.

Installation of two bus stops: one on the R617 west of the N20 Bypass Roundabout and another near the N20 bridge north of the roundabout.

Coffey is collaborating closely with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Cork City Councilโs traffic department to minimise disruption to N20 traffic flow. Traffic management measures are in place, and we are working with utility providers to coordinate works efficiently.
